Cape to Kapp
South east cape to North cape
Completing the loop from South east cape, Tasmania, Australia, to North Cape, Norway, 2019-2020.
Completing the loop
From 2006-2010 I sailed from Europe to Australia via the Atlantic and Pacific oceans in a 26ft Contessa named 'Constellation’. Throughout 2019/2020 I will complete the loop by traveling overland in an ex-military Land Rover 110 (Perentie), from the most southern road in Australia (South East Cape, Tasmania) to North Cape, Norway, the northernmost point accessible by car. The overland trip will take us across the bottom of Australia, by sea in a shipping container to South Africa, and up the continent into Europe.
In doing so I will cross the track of my sailing voyage and return to where I started in ‘Constellation’.
